There's a lot to see in Alice.

The Desert Wildlife Park has great information, the guide who did the talks was great, and the animals were cool too. Saw a digging stick, an animal whacking stick, a Woomera etc. We are in Arrente country. Woomera is a different word in Arrente. There were about 3 to 500 different languages in Australia. In the Arrente region of the centre, there are like 12 different dialects. The guide can tell you where someone is from. Women do most of the work, gathering, grinding, making medecines from animal fats and herbs.
There are medicines for healing cuts, ones for going to the toilet when you've eaten too much meat, eg when there is not much else around. There are no words for no, thank you or greed. Many animals have become extinct due to drought, land clearing, hunting, and introduced species like cats, dogs and rabbits.

Got to Erldunda, ate too much.
