Sofala ..Oct

<-- Isabelle in the stocks

Must run in the family.. John -->

We did a quick stop at Sofala, formerly a gold rush town. It's bit rough now with some beautiful old buildings, and a few rotting.

Up to the Creek ..Oct

<-- a creek runs through Cobble Creek

John, Evonne, me, Ollie, Tony and Charlie -->

Marie's brother John took us on a lovely day trip to his property called Cobble Creek, near Mudgee and Sofala.

We set off from Johns near Patrick O'Possum place. Its nice to see eucalypts how they should be, not like bulbous freaks of N.America. A couple of roos hopped right nearby to be sure there's no mistaking it.

Here's some pics from Ollie's christening. Due to clerical stuff up, we got bumped from the morning slot to the evening. So the celebration happened before the event.
