Arkaroola

Today, Saturday is one more day in Arkaroola. Then we're staying Sunday night in Leigh creek, so we can fully load up on groceries for the desert run along the Ooodnadatta track.

We catch up on homework and to upload it. Then check the ochre walls, plus Livey's Gold Find.

Livey's Gold Find is a ruined little shack.
Amazingly a wedge tail eagle was hanging around in a tree.

(from the Angry Birds movie)
Mighty, mighty eagle soaring free
Defender of our homes and liberty
Bravery, humility, and honesty
Mighty, mighty eagle, rescue me
La di da da da di da da

Sunday, walk up the nearby hill to see views of Lake Frome.
If you blow up this shot, you can see Lake Frome in the distance. It was easily visible on the hill.
An old thermos flask from Mum's. Cost $25 from David Jones. I think it was still made in the USA, as pretty much zero stuff came out of China in the 70s or 80s. I think I will only drink from bottles with their own cup, as this is just superior to swigging directly like a derro.
The bit near the top was a bit steep, had to climb rocks carefully.
