April in Brissy

We keep rolling north, and it takes all the day long. The road from Ballina on is the same as anywhere. As we roll along Surfers area, signs tell us the Commonwealth games are on. I marvel at the size of the parking lot at the theme parks. Huge eh. The sign for the city of Logan is not enticing. It's 2.30pm, not many people live here, but the congestion here is a disgrace.

One more turn, and we're on one of those winding Brissy roads, then a right, and we're on their street. The home they have is huge, beautiful old wooden, and a nice pool out the back.

Night one (I think), we head off to see Yohan training at Toowong. The grass really is greener on the other side here. My beer comes in a cosy. Louis asked for a bag of chips and got it for free. Wouldn't happen often in Sydney.

Day 1 - we go to a local oval for some fun cricket, a swim in their pool, then for some dinner at Eat St.

Looks like a bit of screen time in there as well.

Eat St has big traffic, big car parks, heaps of places to eat in what looks like a half open airplane hanger. We see Bill, Sharn, Evie and Millie. Tom's on camp or something. Nice food,  nice night.
