 After Christmas we went up the coast to realx for a bit.    

The boys got a game from Julia and Maryanne. It was a hit.

STill destroying the future with oversized cars.

Following on from my denim repair workshop, I'm now determined not to uy any more clothes (besides undies etc). These old shorts are a favourite, so it's a pleasure to save them. The sewing took forever mind you.

Me ,Mohammad and Saurabh went out for a bushwalk from Manly to the Spit bridge. The restaurant near the bridge was very good.

The walk is quite spectacular.

The boys cooked! From meory it was pretty good.

Me and Oli went to Eastern Creek to watch some car racing and try out an EV. We took a drive of a BMW, good acceleration.

Jaime pulled out the BBQ and cooked blood sausage, asado, and other excellent meaty goodness.

Danesh's farewell was last month, but here's a couple of more shots. At the Indian place in Parra, near the town hall, near the light rail.

Halloween. Lou dressed up as Adam.

Walked the dog on the weekend. marie went next door for the regular Halloween drinks with the ladies. I went out to try do some snooker with Danesh and Mohammad. At North Ryde RSL, they have tables, but they were setting up for a band, so we couldn't do it. Took a cab ride to Gladesville RSL to find, they'd recently removed theirs there. Bus to Town Hall, the snooker place had tonnes of tables and a one hour wait. Went to the pub for a couple, got home v late, nice time.

The boys are trying out cooking. I think this turned out pretty well.

School holiday central: me and Enno

Kids, my advice is to never get a holiday house. On the plus side, you get to see many more people when they stay. On the down side, sooner or later, it ends up being such a pain in the arse in being a second place to do all the cleaning and maintenance. Cheaper to just get a rental, or stay in a pub somewhere, then you don't have to bust your arse on the constant upkeep.

Me and Oli went to Eastern Creek to watch the car racing. Oli was very happy to have a look. Not many people, so it was easy to wander around to check the different corners.

Tims 70th at King Toms club. Ater too much, had a nice time all the people danced traditional dances.

I volunteered to help out Clover's re-election effort, again. She got in, again. Got to hat to her about her mum, and bike lanes. She is surprisingly easy to chat to.

Make it new! I went on a denim repair workshop. My old brown jeans got a much needed patch on the knee. I've got a lot of projects needing some stitches for sure.

We are part of a fruit and veg coop to pick up these from the Sydney markets at Flemington. It's a big amount of food. Connaugh gets up at 5am to get in before the crowds build up. She is a chap who does this every week.

We've had a competition at work for ping pong. So we've been spending a lot of time preparing. 

The new leg of the Metro opened this week, so I had to go check it out, with Marie and Lou. It is impressive, and so far been a smash hit for moving people around.

Jaime and Marie hard at Pandemic, a cooperative board game. Players work together to keep viruses contained before they spread to too many cities.

A weekend away with Tim Trish Jaime and the kids. An excellent time.

I had to go up early to empty the bins.

A night at Tone and Vonne's

We had everyone around for lunch at our place, including Aunty Ellen. Ceal couldn't make it but the cousins did.

Took Mohammad and Lou for a ride along the Parra river, v good.
