So, what to report for the April of 2018? I suppose the biggest thing to happen was the school holidays. We went up to Queensland to visit Nirav, Zareena, Yohan and Rayan. I've got a load of notes about it somewhere.
Meanwhile, I cut out sugar and real milk from my diet. I lost 3kg just like that. In this shot, I hit 2.5kg roughly above what I was when I was a teenager. I still have a little spare tyre, but probably wasn't in awesome physical condition then either!
So what else? We're in the middle of an insane building boom. Can't stop progress, can't stop the economy booming on, can't stop the relentless drive towards wherever we're headed. Does not seem well organised, or recognise the downside of all this resource use.
This shot is at Lane Cove, where I grew up. I spent a lot of time walking around here, including this old car park on the side of a hill. Now the hill has gone, plus after they went down a level or two. There will be a park, which is good. It's in the middle of some busy streets, and that's not so good.
So what's news with the cat? I keep saying she's getting socialised, as this picture shows. Poor Ollie gets regularly hissed at, but often can hug her fine, particularly when he's putting out the cat food.
Here's the first shot of the school hols, at Nambucca Heads. Drove as far as we could after being picked up at work, then rolling with all the peak hour fools.
Went for a nice walk in the morning, followed by a very nice breakfast. The people in the hotel are v good.
