The usual rounds of protests. This time for helmet laws. We went for a little ride, and got the full cop treatment, 6 patrol cars for a few people doing a lap of the park without a helmet. Not sure why the NSW police have it in for bike riders.





At these protests, I'm starting to recognise several people. It's getting weird. The lady in the hat is Pip from the cyclists party. Mike Rubbo is on the right. Rudy organised.







Sue Abbott took the fine on behalf of everyone. She's a helmet free champion. Turns out if you keep riding after getting the first fine, it goes up to the next level of offence. We elected to complete it off road, where allowed to freely, and everyone then got their helmet off.






Jason and Vince were looking at a vineyard. Neither of them particularly drink, so it's probably good that in the end, the deal fell through. These days wine production is going downhill with all the weird weather and the heat.





The reason for the heat is the profligate burning of fossil fuels. We should definitely exit this immediately.
