We travelled to Marie's cousins place for her daughter's confirmation. Sorry, that means I didn't understand anything that went on for 2 days.

On the way home we dropped in on Alessandria. Weirdly, this has been my aim since before we even got here, as the Borsalino factory is here!! They used to make some of the finest hats in the world. It is Italy, eh? Apparently the hat museum they have is awesome. Sadly it was closed. Now we know it's open weekends only.
